We all know that when it comes to computers, Dell products are created once there is an order placed. So with that, they are able to cut out the cost of inventory which in terms place their products for cheap. So I agree with you that Dell does follow the cost leadership strategy and Apple Inc. definitely focus on the differentiation strategy. They were the first ones with the mp3s and the ipods. I never heard of Zipcar, so I cant say for sure if they used the focus strategy. Overall, good picks in the retailers.
